My name is Aris, I am 23 years old and counting.
That is as much as I am willing to share in this “‘AI’ webscraping” hell, personal data selling, “you didn’t agree with my political view so I will seek out all of your personal information and doxx you” era of the internet. I’ve already probably given too much, but anyway.
You may have already noticed, this is a blog. No, the year is not 1999. This is a blog in the year 2026. Although, it would seem personal blogs are coming back in fashion, given that it has turned out not only all of social media was owned by weirdo nerds, they were owned by fascist weirdo nerds who have weird obsessions about women not loving them (I wonder why).
So, why this blog? Why not, I say. I have missed the ‘golden age’ of the internet blog and even forums. Not my fault that I was born in the year 2003 and was not given access to the internet until about 2012. All of our school computers were running Windows XP as old as us and I could not speak English just yet.
In short, this is a personal blog that I will be using to write whatever I want about whatever topic I want. It will be all that I want and if something that I am interested in does not interest you, then I am glad to report that there is an entire internet for you to go out and explore.
If that was all that you wanted to learn, then your time with this post is done, feel free to do anything else. However, there is a little something that I want to add to the bottom of this post for future reference. And of course, it concerns “AI”.
This website is “AI” free. It will always be, for as long as I can hold out. I can’t believe that I have to say this, but I am anti-“AI”. As anti-“AI” as one could get. Every “AI” company is yet again owned by some fascistic weirdo nerd that I would not get within 500 kilometres of and I don’t want their “product” anywhere near me or my life.
This website is a stock template from WordPress, it lacks a lot of quality of life features, and I have spent literally ONE YEAR trying to work it out and postponing it for no reason. Could an “AI” help me? Maybe. Would an “AI” be able to code the entire webpage for me? Sure, probably. But that’s not the point. It never was the point.
Not a single word put onto this website will be written by “AI”. Every word on this page will be written by me and me only.
