Let’s make another thing apparent. I love statistics. Yes, I have over 500 hours on Football Manager. Yes, I can stop whenever I want.

Regardless, the statistics page, which I didn’t know existed until yesterday has shown me this chart.

And it’s a very interesting chart to me, because if it’s accurate (which I doubt) it confirms any of the following points below:

1. My first post about the internet being a “web-scraping hell” is real and 100% justified and these are all bots scouring the internet lapping up any delicious information points and words and sentences they can find to regurgitate into misinformation.
2. My fears are nonsense and these are all real people, which might honestly be more scary considering what I have posted so far and how recent the webpage is. In that case, hello, witam, bonjour, hallo and hei to all of my international readers out there.
3. Or “arsisug” means something horribly offensive in some other language and I am completely unaware of it and people are coming here out of sheer disgust.

It’s also interesting because while not revealing where I am exactly, I am not from the United States (thank God!), so the 42 visits literally couldn’t have been me.

I’m sure mine isn’t the only site that gets stats like this and one quick search would confirm whether these views are all from bots or other networks and such.

But, I ask dear reader, or whoever you are or for whatever data-sucking evil company you might unwillingly have to work for as a non-sentient string of code, sometimes not knowing is more enjoyable, isn’t it?
